AI takes the lead in industrial transformation at Héroes de Mantenimiento Summit

By October 28, 2025

The fourth edition of the Héroes del Mantenimiento Summit, organized by Fracttal, will be held on October 29 to 30, 2025. In bringing together high-impact content, immersive digital experiences and a practical focus on artificial intelligence (AI), the event will uncover just how much the technology is redefining maintenance, leadership and sustainability.

Through the conference, Fracttal, a leading provider of maintenance management solutions and a pioneer company in asset management technologies, reaffirms its commitment to innovation and sustainable development in the maintenance industry, while also spotlighting Latin America as an innovative frontier.

Héroes del Mantenimiento will be held in a hybrid format, with online streaming and Portuguese translation for Brazilian audiences.

The event will also feature four hours of live content per day, and international experts will discuss the future of maintenance in an increasingly automated work environment. The first day will focus on the practical application of AI, while the second will turn to sustainability, ethics, and leadership amidst an automatized age.

Latin America’s milestone in industrial innovation

Professionals and sector experts will be convened under the theme “AI for the Future Leaders of Maintenance.” The event will emphasize more dynamic and collaborative sectorial communication, while also consolidating Latin America as a global benchmark for technological innovation and sustainability.

Héroes del Mantenimiento 2025 will once again serve as a meeting point for the leaders driving the sector’s transformation. In an era where AI is redefining asset and maintenance management, staying up-to-date and sharing knowledge is more important than ever,” noted Christian Struve, Fracttal’s Co-Founder and CEO.

The company believes now is a critical point for the Latin American push towards digital transformation. The event’s emphasis on collaboration reflects a wider trend: the region is taking an increasingly active role in shaping the next generation of industrial leaders.

In fact, the World Economic Forum estimates that 84% of employers in Latin America are currently planning to upskill their workforces due to shifting demands, including increased need for quality leadership, social influence, resilience and creative thinking. Héroes del Mantenimiento highlights that this training does not need to occur in silo- collaboration is imperative.

Explored themes include technical advancements, including failures prediction, automated decision-making, the integration of intelligent systems that enhance operational efficiency, and the redefinition of technical roles.

Other topics emphasize the need for human development amidst the transformation. Experts will discuss the types of leadership needed to balance efficiency with human judgement, the new technical profiles in the AI age, and emerging hybrid leadership models.

“AI and automation only reach their true potential when they serve the people who make maintenance possible. Our challenge is to ensure that technology amplifies their impact- not replaces it,” said Ricardo Román, CSO at Fracttal.
