Bachata fans in Ecuador will be pleased to hear that the one and only Prince Royce is returning to the Andean nation as a part of his ongoing ‘Classic Tour’, celebrating ten years as one of the most popular bachata acts in the world.
After touring Europe and the US earlier this year, the Bronx-born Dominican singer will be making stops in Quito on November 17 and Guayaquil on November 19, where he will be performing hits from his 2020 studio album “Alter Ego,” which debuted at number 1 on the Top Latin Albums Chart, as well as fan-favorite hits from over the years including, ‘Unconditional’, ‘Little Things’, ‘Stand by Me’, ‘Darte Un Beso’, and his recent singles like ‘I’m Waiting for You’ which he recently co-released with Argentine singer Maria Becerra.
His most recent release, ‘Si Te Preguntan…’ alongside Nicky Jam and Jay Wheeler has already amassed over thirty-five million views on YouTube since it debuted early this Summer.
“I am excited that very soon I will be back in Ecuador as a part of my Classic Tour, putting on a show for all my fans in exchange for all the love and support they have provided me throughout my career,” said Prince Royce.
In an interview with Billboard last year, Prince Royce claimed he realized he had talent as a singer when singing in the shower as a teenager, and self-funded his first album while working in a cellphone store in college. From these humble beginnings eleven years ago, Prince Royce’s talent and prolific output as a musician has propelled him to claim the title of the number-one bachata singer in the world, snagging multi-platinum record sales awards, 21 number-one radio hits, 24 Latin Billboard Music Awards, 20 Premios lo Nuestro awards, 19 Premios Juventud awards, 9 Latin AMA awards, and 14 Latin GRAMMY nominations.
Tickets to Prince Royce’s Classic Tour shows in Ecuador are available here and onsite prior to the concerts.
